Thanks to Halogen Audio Limited’s innovative solution of installing a multi zone mixer, Urban Turban can now entice harbour side strollers to enter the restaurant by playing lively music outside, whilst relaxing music are soothing the ears of diners inside.
URBAN TURBAN RESTAURANT is an urban style, contemporary Indian restaurant offering a fresh perspective on Bombay style food’s that are now complemented and brought to life by their brand new superb sound system.
Pro-audio specialists, Halogen Audio were initially commissioned by Urban Turban Restaurant to install fantastic sounding speakers in the restaurant’s exterior areas in preparation for the lively spring season of 2012. QSC speakers were selected by Halogen Audio for their superior weatherised construction as Urban Turban Restaurant is located at one of Auckland’s newest waterfront locations, the dining precinct “The North Wharf”. These acoustic design speakers deliver Class A audio quality and offer the added benefit of being visibly unobtrusive with the option of custom painting to suit the venue’s décor.
Urban Turban Restaurant recognized the significance of sound to enhance their guests’ overall dining experience thus desired the same fantastic sound inside. Halogen Audio then designed and installed a state of the art multi zone sound system selecting a Cloud multi zone mixer, allowing Urban Turban’s manager to independently control the sound of the three sound zones of the restaurant which is the outside front, outside side and inside. This mixer offers the freedom to use different sound sources, such as an I-Pod or CD, for each zone as well as different volume levels. A Shure wireless microphone system was also installed for DJ and other events.
